In November 2018, a new Taiwanese street food restaurant based in Marylebone, London tasked us with managing their social media accounts (with a focus on Instagram). With the brief of establishing an authentic tone of voice and look and feel to the page which reflects the night markets in Taiwan which inspired the restaurant, gaining insight pre and post launch was vital.

As well as providing social media services, we provided our production service to bring the hard work behind the lead up to launch, the launch day and behind the scenes to the consumer. We also created bespoke social media competitions and other ways of engaging with new followers to ensure brand awareness leads to bums on seats. This also gave us a database of engaged consumers who we continue to maintain direct conversations with to continue providing a voice behind the restaurant. 

  • Secured a write-up on one of the most popular online food blogs, Twisted Foods. This was shared across their Facebook, Instagram and website with a reach of over 20 million.

  • Grew the Bao & Bing Instagram page following by 71% in the first month of taking on the account. 

  • Shortlisted and subsequently nominated as finalists for the Golden Chopstick Awards (co-founded by Gok Wan).
